Southern Boll > Dalibor WeyrRank:
Journeyman Smith (Glasscrafter,) Wher CandidatePersonality:
Rough and Tumble
Serious about his craft
Not serious about anything else
Defensive about his brother
Felrin has far more important things to do than worry or be responsible. He cares greatly about his brother and Rave and his craft and, really, that's about it. He's laid back, enjoys doing as he pleases and interrupting Kelrin. He doesn't take offense easily, but will become extremely volatile if Kelrin is insulted or he's pushed too far. He doesn't have much of a temper, generally being too laid back to worry over what others think or to grow angry over slights.
He's friendly, eager to have company and greatly fond of flirting, especially with women. That doesn’t mean men are safe, just usually that he needs to be into his cups to venture that way. He's easy to make laugh and greatly enjoys entertainment and jokes. He's rarely without a smile and is generally a very happy individual.Appearance:
Felrin stands around six feet tall. He's stocky with a wide face and wide nose and ears that stick out. He keeps his dirty blonde hair long and usually tied back in a braid. It isn't stylish, but it helps hide his ears. He keeps a beard and usually braids it, too, partially because he likes it, mostly because his mother hates it. It's also good for keeping it under control.
Small scars cover his body, mostly from altercations with his brother, some from failed projects and others from childhood mishaps. None are terribly noticeable save one that cuts through his right cheek. While he doesn't seem overly concerned with his physical appearance, he does bathe regularly and make an effort to be clean. He has brown eyes that seem to be constantly assessing everything around him.Family:
Brother: Kelrin (twin)
Sister: Orli (younger)Pets:
Rave - Blue firelizardHistory:
Raised alongside his twin Kelrin by fisher parents, Felrin was a handful. Felrin and Kelrin were impossible. Together, they were brilliant, scheming, clever and absolutely ruthless with getting their way. Apart, they devised ways to communicate with their brother and generally grew lackluster until they could cause trouble alongside their sibling. Prone to fighting, the twins grew up at one another's throats but if anyone dare to look at the brother wrong, both would rise up to defend the other.
Went into SmithGlasscrafting at 12. This was a surprise to everyone, given the twins' rough and tumble nature. That either one could work with glass was astonishing. However, they proved quite apt at it. Felrin took to the practical uses. Walked the tables just before they turned 20 turns. They had managed their projects so that neither one would walk before the other and, as ever, they walked the tables together, as they did everything. As a gift their parents gave them each a fire lizard that the boys promptly named Rant and Rave.
Doomfall was particularly terrifying, though all of their family lived. Felrin did lose one of his friends, a boy named Estevan, whom had been the same age as the twins. It was a sobering moment for Felrin, whom swore to appreciate life all the more, even if he's still a bit reckless about it.
Eventually the need for ~adventure~ struck and where was better than Dalibor? The Weyr was known for
being different and that sounded right up Felrin and Kelrin's alley! So, off they went... More than willing to lend a hand with their craft, of course... But mostly interested, at least in Felrin's case, in whers.
With the new Weyr and Holds showing up down South, surely Western needed more bodies? And more bodies meant a better chance at a bond, right? Right! (At least in his opinion.)
Of course, as soon as they arrived, what Felrin happily described as "The cold from Between" was ravaging the Weyr, meaning the crafter stayed well away from... Well, everyone but Kelrin. Talk about a crap introduction to what was supposed to be exciting!Adoption Preference:

Blue Felrisk [#0a1635] - Impressed to Felrin (Captain)Test Test
The night, she calls me. Who am I to deny her?
Someone has to keep his pink twin sister out of trouble. Felrisk is the wher for the job. From the moment he stepped from his shell until the day that their paths no longer converge, he will be the every watchful sentry. Felrisk isn't a hyperactive soul, but he has a steadfast, tireless energy that keeps him going until his work is done, which is especially important when you want to keep an eye on a certain sibling. Family is important. Be they bonds of blood or created bonds.
Loyal and driven, this blue is often gruff and direct, choosing the sensible over the fanciful. He is the calm amidst the storm. Rarely stirred into a panic. He tolerates a great deal from those important to him and His (a few grumpy remarks made to hide any amusement), and is generally easy going. Whatever His wants in life is important to Felrisk. Any grand adventures that might place His in harms' way will be protested...but accepted if it is what they truly desire.
Speaking of adventures, Felrisk doesn't like going outside during the day. At all. Tinted goggles, hats, etc? All of it met with moody complaints. He is a wher. Whers don't go outside when Rukbat is high. The twin moons are much more beautiful anyway. He could stare at them for candlemarks and never bore, lost in the way they make everything glow. The world is at its very best.
Felrisk is a true wher of the night. With surprisingly neat and delicate proportions akin to his mother's sinewy form, and a hide almost dark enough to be mistaken as black. Like a shadow. Because shadows are rarely the color of pitch but rather deepened shades of the surface they're cast upon. Only the vivid singular rings of lighter pigment marking his headknobs, tailforks, flanks, brow and shoulders, break the inky consistence of his hide.
While not a hulking beast of hunched shoulders and powerful muscle, Felrisk is sturdy. This rough and tumble blue is dense and far heavier than he looks, made for walling hits and acts of endurance. He's the kind of wher that would easily find a role amongst miners, pulling carts or digging survivors out of cave ins. Despite his weightiness, Felrisk moves quietly, mindful of his steps, as if he is always on the hunt. His movements are tight and controlled. The only errant motion coming from his tail.
It isn't a cropped, stub of a nubbin like some of his color possess. Though it isn't especially long either. His tailforks would skim along the ground if he allowed it, but most of the time, those ends twitch about Felrisk's ankles. His tail is almost as expressive as his eyes when it comes to showing otherwise withheld emotions.
6'3" x 4'
Felrisk and Felrin are both protective over their siblings. Sure, this blue cares more about his pink twin than others, but someone has to take care of her. His tireless energy and steadfast approach will help him keep up with his bonded, and Felrin is laid-back enough to handle any grumblings he may make.
